Breezy fall days and the onset of Halloween, inspire a static energy from within. Spartina 449 has taken their fall line and infused the spirits of 5 creative women from Dafuskie Island. We have chosen 3 that have particularly inspired us.
1. Lesesne is our bold and bright floral created in conjunction with Sally Lesesne, an artist whose pattern is inspired by her grandmother "Rose" who was from Roseland Plantation. Magenta and coral blossoms on dusty blue background are printed on Spartina's signature linen and trimmed nicely with a slightly metallic, golden leather.
2. Ms. Billie was a legendary Jane of all trades on Dafuskie. Whether driving her bus, or learning piano, she was there to help whenever those were in need. The subtle blues and grays on cream represent her cool attitude and constant kindness while the tan leather accents give a fashionable contrast to this fetching pattern.
3. Callahan's modern geometric pattern on white with pops of red, is a traditional and timeless representation for women's accessories. Patti Callahan Henry, fell in love with the island when her husband brought her there years ago before they were married. As a Southern novelist, she uses the island as backdrop for her many creative stories.
Spartina 449 carefully chooses quality linen and leather to complete the look of their unique and sophisticated collection. Always choose from a selection of tote bags, shoulder bags, small hipster satchels, wallets, cellphone covers and e book covers.
