Hours: Part Time

• 2-3 Weekdays 10-5 (M & F +1 other) 
• 3 Sundays a month 11-4
• 1 Sat 10-5, on off Sun

We’re calling in our next Rose Bud to join our team. Someone who feels at home in a beautiful retail space, surrounded by décor that inspires and people who care deeply about what they do.

This is a part-time position for someone who loves retail, connection, and creating inviting spaces. If your happy place is a cozy shop filled with soulful treasures, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

Purple Rose & Co is a mother–daughter–run home brand with 26 years of heart behind it. We curate soulful, vintage-inspired décor that helps customers make their homes feel cozy, beautiful, and intentional. Our small but mighty team values creativity, reliability, and genuine connection, both in-store and online.

What You’ll Do

In-Store Responsibilities
• Greet and assist customers with warmth and product knowledge
• Process sales transactions accurately using our POS system
• Restock and style the sales floor so it feels fresh and inspiring
• Help organize inventory, backstock, and incoming deliveries
• Maintain a tidy, welcoming store environment

Who You Are

• Reliable, consistent, and comfortable taking initiative
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
• Friendly, confident, and emotionally intelligent communicator
• Creative with an eye for visual presentation
• Tech-comfortable and eager to learn new tools
• Able to balance independence with teamwork

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of retail or customer service experience
• Proficient with computers and point-of-sale systems
• Familiar with Instagram for business
• Comfortable lifting and moving décor or small furniture
• Available Sundays plus 2–3 additional weekdays

Bonus Opportunities

Our newest team member may also take on additional creative or operational roles if interested — experience not required, but curiosity is a plus!

Marketing & Operations
• Work with Kim to create and schedule social media content (Instagram Stories, Reels, and posts)
• Assist with simple email campaigns using Klaviyo or similar platforms
• Support light website updates and product listings in Shopify
• Explore AI tools and automations (like ManyChat) to streamline workflows
• Capture iPhone photos for product or lifestyle content

E-Commerce & Shipping
• Pack and ship online orders with care
• Manage customer service emails for online customers
• Keep shipping materials organized and stocked

Nice to Have

• Experience with Klaviyo, Shopify, or Canva
• Basic iPhone photography and editing (Lightroom app)
• Interest in brand storytelling and visual design

Starting Pay: $19–$21/hour, based on experience
