You might be reading this and thinking, "darn".
We have made every effort to note this in several places, including this page, in the description of each item, on the order confirmation, as well as the packing list. It's also on a sign at the register in our shop, and on the register receipt.

We understand it may be frustrating that you may have missed it and ask that you consider that it's your responsibility to be aware of the policy before making a purchase. If your item/s are damaged, we will absolutely take the proper measures to reconcile here.
If an exception is made for any non returnable items there is a minimum of a 25% restocking fee and store credit for the balance. Any holiday items returned after 12/15 will incur a 50% restocking fee and a store credit for the balance.

We do hope sometime in the future to be able to offer returns on this collection, until then, please be kind and considerate of our policy.

Items that are always final sale:

The following categories of items are not returnable, exchangeable or refundable.

  • All Christmas/Holiday
  • All Markdowns & Sale items: Does not include promotions but includes items in our sale category, "tent sale" or social media sales such as Instagram and Facebook "Sold" commenting sale and Last Chance.
  • Customized/Personalized items.
  • Vintage and one of a kind items.
  • Candles
  • Jewelry
  • Baby items
  • String lights and battery operated candles.
  • All Furniture

Before you fill out our Return Form, please read all of the info above and below.

Should your non returnable item be damaged please read below and refer to this page here and below If you have an item that is defective or damaged, please let us know straight away so we can get your item/order replaced. You must save any/all boxes and packaging from these damaged orders until we notify you to discard them. Replacement will be discussed on a case per case basis. 

Eligible Items for Return:

*please note we are unable to accommodate exchanges online at this time. We can process a return and the customer can place a new order. We are able to make exchanges in the store if they fall within our return parameters.

Returns In Store and Online:
Items eligible for return, must be returned within 14 days. For store hours please click here. Items returned between 15-30 days will receive a store credit only.  If you would like to return or exchange an item/order, purchased online, and that falls into these time frames, you must acquire an RA# (return authorization) by filling out our return form.
Items returned without an RA# or beyond the 30 day limited time period, will incur a 25% restocking fee with refund. 
Many items ship direct from the vendor and returns may need to be returned directly to them. When providing an RA# we will provide return shipping address as well. Any items sent to the store or incorrect address, if noted in return email, will incur a charge for additional shipping to the correct location. Shipping is not refundable and return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer. This includes and is not limited to any items that are delivered via freight. Customer is responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipment on any items sent via freight like furniture and large area rugs. 

*Free Shipping items returned or exchanged:
If you would like to return an item that was shipped free and falls under returnable items, then the refund will be processed for the amount of the item minus standard shipping prices to cover our costs. Unless the item is defective or damaged and therefore shipping will be on us. The customer is also responsible for shipping costs of the item being sent back to Purple Rose Home or the manufacturer specified during the return process. Some items drop ship from manufacturer and these items will need to be returned directly back to the manufacturer. Failure to do so will incur additional charges.
Returned items must be returned in original packaging with any tags still attached. Item must be in original condition, unwashed or worn in any way, and free from pet hair and odors such as cigarette smoke or animal scents or stains. Any items that are unfit for resale will be rejected and sent back to the customer with additional charges. 

Please note that different fabrics, woods, and other home furnishing elements have different wear ability, and the nature of these items are uncontrollable. Wood is a living breathing entity and some expanding and minor cracks and splits, especially in climates where humidity is present, are to be considered normal IF they occur. Furniture deliveries must be inspected thoroughly upon arrival for any damages or mistakes. All damages or imperfections must be documented with the delivery driver for quality assurance and speedy resolution. Please see our Policies section for a list of non returnable custom items.

Bedding Orders:
Some of our bedding options have many color and fabric options to choose from. When placing your bedding order please note that dye lots can vary and we recommend ordering all items of the same color in one order to ensure continuity. We also can offer swatches if needed. Purple Rose Home as well as the manufacturer of your bedding order assume no responsibility on dye lot variation on items of the same color placed in separate orders. Please refer to each item for return policy on that bedding. Returnable bedding may be subject to a restocking fee. 

*Please Note Bedding: Purple Rose Home recommends using the utmost care when laundering any items with a tassel or an unfinished edge. Hand washing or using a garment bag is preferred by Purple Rose Home. Purple Rose Home will not accept any returns on Tat, Hammock, or any other Matteo Bedding with raw edges that have been damaged during any washing process.

In Store Return Policy: (In store and online policies may vary)

Jewelry, women's accessories, baby gifts, candles, books, select accessories are FINAL SALE and can not be exchanged or returned unless otherwise specified by a Purple Rose employee. Holiday Decor is FINAL SALE.

The following items can be returned for a full refund within 14 days. In stock artwork, curtains, bedding, rugs, accessories, & small mirrors. Custom ordered items will depend on vendor and may be subject to a restocking fee or shipping fee to return to vendor.  Returns on accepted items, between 15-30 days, will result in store credit only and no refunds or credits after 30 days. No exceptions. Carry out furniture and large accessories such as large mirrors fall under a take and try policy and must be returned within 7 days or refunds will be subject to store credit only up to 14 days after removal from shop. After 14 days, no refunds or credit will be given.  Items must be returned in original condition and packaging (when applicable) and with a receipt.  

Any items that are special ordered through the shop will adhere to our online return policies.
