Returns & Exchanges

Before you fill out our Return Form, please read all of the info below.
Here's all you need to know about returning an item to Purple Rose Home. Majority of our accessories can be returned, however there are many items on our website that fall under our custom category and others that we do not accept returns on. We have a whole other page for discussing custom items here and below we'll delve further into ineligible return items right after this... If you have an item that is defective or damaged, please let us know straight away so we can get your item/order replaced. Please try to save any boxes and packaging from these damaged orders. We will take care of the shipping on damaged or defective items that are clearly our responsibility or the fault of the shipper.  

Items that are Ineligible for Return:

Your satisfaction is important to us and overtime we do hope to be able to accept returns or more and more categories.

Brands Considered Custom: Bella Notte Linens, Currey and Company Lighting, Sugarboo, & Sweet Gumball. See our custom page for more info. Additionally the following items are not returnable.
Art Category: Any items that fall under this category are not returnable or refundable. This excludes Sweet Gumball 5 x 5 and 8 x 8 shelf art which can be returned.
Furniture: All items under the "Furniture" category are not returnable or refundable. (in store we have a take and try option for carry out pieces. see store for details)
Jewelry: All Jewelry is final sale.
Christmas & Holiday: All Items in the Christmas and Holiday categories are final sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges.
Vintage Items: All vintage items are final sale. These items are one of a kind and described as accurately as possible. Before making a purchase please contact us via email or by phone, to request any other information about the item that you might require.
Sale Items: All items in the "Sale" category are final sale and not returnable or refundable.

Eligible Items for Return:

Returns/Exchanges In Store and Online:
Items eligible for return, must be returned within 14 days. For store hours please click here. Items returned between 15-30 days will receive a store credit only.  If you would like to return or exchange an item/order, purchased online, and that falls into these time frames, you must acquire an RA# (return authorization) by filling out our return form. Items returned without an RA# will not be accepted and additional shipping charges may apply for returning the item to you. No returns are accepted after 30 days. Many items ship direct from the vendor and returns may need to be returned directly to them. When providing an RA# we will provide return shipping address as well. Any items sent to the store or incorrect address, if noted in return email, will incur a charge for additional shipping to the correct location.
Returned items must be returned in original packaging with any tags still attached. Item must be in original condition, unwashed or worn in any way, and free from pet hair and odors such as cigarette smoke or animal scents or stains. Any items that are unfit for resale will be rejected and sent back to the customer with additional charges. 

Please note that different fabrics, woods, and other home furnishing elements have different wear ability, and the nature of these items are uncontrollable. Wood is a living breathing entity and some expanding and contracting should be considered normal. Furniture deliveries must be inspected thoroughly upon arrival for any damages or mistakes. All damages or imperfections must be documented with the delivery driver for quality assurance and speedy resolution. Please see our Policies section for a list of non returnable custom items.

Free Shipping items returned or exchanged:
If you would like to return an item that was shipped free and falls under returnable items, then the refund will be processed for the amount of the item minus standard shipping prices to cover our costs. Unless the item is defective or damaged and therefore shipping will be on us. The customer is also responsible for shipping costs of the item being sent back to Purple Rose Home or the manufacturer specified during the return process. Some items drop ship from manufacturer and these items will need to be returned directly back to the manufacturer. Failure to do so will incur additional charges.

Bedding Orders:
Bella Notte Linens, is an extensive line with many color and fabric options to choose from, therefore all bedding orders will be custom made to order. When placing your bedding order please note that dye lots can vary and we recommend ordering all items of the same color in one order to ensure continuity. Purple Rose Home as well as the manufacturer of your custom bedding order assume no responsibility on dye lot variation on items of the same color placed in separate orders. Pine Cone Hill may incur a 15% restocking fee on returns and will be reviewed on a per instance basis.

*Please Note Bedding: Purple Rose Home recommends using the utmost care when laundering any items with a tassel or an unfinished edge. Hand washing or using a garment bag is preferred by Purple Rose Home. Purple Rose Home will not accept any returns on Tat, Hammock, or any other Matteo Bedding with raw edges that have been damaged during any washing process.

*Please Note Holiday Orders: When placing orders for Bella Notte Linens, there will be no guarantee of delivery for Christmas if your order is placed after October 15th. Any orders placed after this date, may deliver after Christmas and Purple Rose Home will not be responsible for any delays.

In Store Return Policy: (In store and online policies may vary)

The following items can be returned for a full refund within 14 days. In stock artwork, curtains, bedding, rugs, accessories, & small mirrors. Custom ordered items will depend on vendor and may be subject to a restocking fee or shipping fee to return to vendor.  Returns on accepted items, between 15-30 days, will result in store credit only and no refunds or credits after 30 days. No exceptions. Carry out furniture and large accessories such as large mirrors fall under a take and try policy and must be returned within 7 days or refunds will be subject to store credit only up to 14 days after removal from shop. After 14 days, no refunds or credit will be given.  Items must be returned in original condition and packaging (when applicable).  Any items that are special ordered through the shop will adhere to our online return policies. 

Jewelry, women's accessories, baby gifts, candles, books, select accessories are FINAL SALE and can not be exchanged or returned unless otherwise specified by a Purple Rose employee. Holiday Decor returns will not be accepted beyond 24 hours of purchase.  No exceptions.
