Get The Look: Traditional Bedroom in Blue Tones

Are you looking for a bedroom that you can have the sweetest of dreams in. A bed that calls your name by inviting you in with soft linens and layers of comfort?  All while being stylish and serene at the same time? As the cooler weather approaches you don't want to stuck out in the cold without a warm bed to come home to.

The neutral color palette of this traditional bedroom brings the warmth of natural linen with the calming effect of  a variety of soft and medium blue tones. Adding some warm honey as the wooden bed frame creates a balance between the vintage style bedding and the overall traditional look of the room. We did add a bit of a contemporary twist with the word art, but the colors of the frame and print itself coordinate so well with the rest of the room, we could not resist.

We think you'll like paring warm textured linen with jacquard shams in a soft blue tone. Add a bit of that grain sack look with a kidney pillow or fringed throw blanket and a matching area rug in a herringbone pattern to complete the look.  Happy Decorating!
