Fetching fall florals

Fetching fall florals

We experienced an alternatively excruciatingly hot and super soggy summer here in New England, so many of us are ready for a relaxing fall with some crispness in the air and bringing a little nature into the great indoors. You can easily bring the beauty of the environment inside this season with some home décor greenery options from our fall collection.

For autumn, there are plenty of varieties of faux greens but we’re also excited about the rusty oranges, creamy whites and chocolatey browns in the fall collection. Here’s a sampling, so you can find the perfect items for your space.

One of our favorite finds for the season is a selection of faux greenery in pepperberry. There’s an eye-pleasing blend of shades in the pepperberry items - lovely, natural grass next to bold, blood-orange buds.

Pepperberry looks delicate yet hearty. If you’re already starting to feel the blahs as summer drifts away, these items will bring some life back to your space. I can see pepperberry at home in kitchen and dining areas as well as the entryway and den. We feature these décor items in pepperberry:

Autumn Pepperberry Bush

Autumn Pepperberry Bush: It’s full, fuzzy and packed with fall colors – but it’s not overpowering. It looks great even in a dainty receptacle. The single Jug is shown with two stems, and individual vases are shown with a single stem.

Autumn Pepperberry Garland

Autumn Pepperberry Garland: If you want to tie the room together, decorate with a strand of garland, place a bush on the mantel and add in one of the wreaths below.

Autumn Pepperberry Wreath

Autumn Pepperberry Wreath: The warm tones of the 22” round wreath speak the language of autumn.

Autumn Pepperberry Drop

Autumn Pepperberry Drop: Consider hanging this gorgeous autumn drop with some twine on the wall.

Rose Buds frequently ask us how to assemble a seasonal “scape,” be it for a shelf, table, bookcase, counter or mantel. Here is a selection of items that blend well together to transform your modern farmhouse into a festive fall space.

Here’s your first tip: pull out some neutral vases or receptacles. Neutral tones combined with some autumnal faux greenery is a simple way to celebrate the look and feel of the season. For example, place a few stems of Cork Textured Leaves Burnt Orange into your favorite creamy-colored vase. The orange adds some color to the room without demanding too much attention. Or, mix it up and combine a burnt orange leaf stem with this reddish Perfect Fall Maple Stem. They look marvelous together!

Echo Speckled Cream Vase Set

If you don’t have the right vase, here’s our new Echo Speckled Cream Vase Set. They’re thin enough for a mantelscape, placed in a window or adding some fall fun to the table.

Pumpkin Pod Wreath

Looking for a centerpiece for a ‘scape or a dining room table? Wreaths aren’t just for the door anymore. This handsome Pumpkin Pod Wreath is covered in lovely, faint red pods with a base of thin twigs forming the base. I can see this in the center of your mantel or shelfscape. Or, here’s the centerpiece for your fall dining table. Add a thick, long, white candle to the center for a touch of romantic flavor.

Now that you have a showcase piece or centerpiece for the ‘scape, consider some faux greenery accents, such as this Pepperberry Cream and Brown Heather Garland, with natural blends of browns and creamy whites. Fall Hanging Hops are another seasonal accent piece to add elegance to your decor.

First, consider this adorable Round Hand Woven Rattan Wall Basket, with a classic-meets-modern feel. Mix in some fall colors with an Autumn Hanging Sedum Stem and Butter Hops Stem to complete the look.

Once you’ve begun transforming the living areas and dining/kitchen areas of your home, you may be inspired to add some faux greenery and fall fun to every room in the house. We have a suggestion: The elegant Bleached and Natural Floral Bouquet features dried blooms that will stand out in even the simplest of receptacles.
